The app is specifically designed to work only with an original Kookoo Bluetooth speaker, and cannot be connected to any other Bluetooth device. If you do not have a Kookoo speaker, you can contact us to purchase one. In the meantime, you can still try and enjoy the features of the Kookoo app through your phone's internal speaker. If you have an Apple Watch connected to your phone, you may need to disconnect it before connecting to the speaker.

To pair your KooKoo Bluetooth speaker with your mobile phone, press and hold the button at the bottom of the speaker for 3 seconds. A blue LED light will start blinking. Once it is successfully paired, the LED light will turn into a steady blue light. To turn the speaker off, press and hold the button for 4 seconds. The blue LED light will turn off indicating that the speaker is now off.

Before trying to connect your KooKoo Bluetooth speaker to your phone, make sure that your phone's volume is not muted and is turned on. If you are still having trouble connecting, try adjusting the speaker volume directly from your phone's volume buttons. This may help establish a successful connection.

Click the "Story Maker" button on the mane app page. If you did not register yet, you'll be asked to approve the parental consent and then to register. You can easily register via the Apple or Google buttons at the bottom of the screen. After selecting the "Story Maker" button, enter all the values in this screen and select "Create the story". Once the story is created within about 30 seconds, you can scroll down and click "Read aloud". You can also share the story via a variety of channels, as shown at the bottom of the screen. You can open any of the previously made stories and play them again.

On the main screen of the KooKoo app, click on "Change Voice". Select your preferred funny voice from the list. Go back to the main screen and use the green button as a walkie talkie. Hold to talk and release to play via the doll with the selected funny voice.

In the main screen of the KooKoo app, select "Playlist". To record a new story, click once on the blue recording button and start recording your story. To stop recording, click the button again. Give your story a name, and if you want to save it to your favorite stories, click the star button, and it will be added to the "Favorites" tab.

You can download the KooKoo app on any old phone you have at home and put it to good use again. There is no need for a SIM card. The app can be downloaded and used while the phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network. This way you can use an old phone as a KooKoo remote control and enjoy all the features that the app offers, without engaging your own personal phone in the game.

On the main screen click "Story Maker". At the bottom of this page a "Previous Stories" button will appear (allow it a few seconds to load). Click this button and wait for a full list of all previous stories to come up. The last prepared story will be on the top of the list. Select any desired story to read it, or scroll down to play it aloud or to share it via social networks.

Yes you can. At the bottom of the story you will find a "Rewrite" button. Once you click it, the story will appear in a new text edit screen. Make your edits and then click the "Update Story" button to save your edits.
